About Coach Margaux
Margaux Hall was born in Seattle, WA and was raised in Boise Idaho. Margaux first fell in love with ice skating when she was 6 years old on a homemade rink in her back yard. The next year Treasure Valley Ice was built in West Boise and Margaux, at age 7 began taking private lessons and joined the Boise Figure Skating Club; she began competing in the Northwest Region 2 years later. Margaux skated winters in Boise with her coach who would travel to Boise from Sun Valley weekly; and spent summers training in Seattle and had the opportunity to train with wonderful National and International level coaches throughout her ameature career.
Margaux has been coaching ice skating in Boise since 1997; coaching all disciplines within the sport of skating.
For the figure skater she offers freeskating, moves in the field, and ice dance; also off ice strength and polymetric training; for the competivie skater or the test track skater.
For the hockey skater Margaux offers power skating and power turn classes for 1 to 4 skaters at a time, focusing on edge control, power and foot quickness.
Margaux is a professional and accredited member with the US Figure Skating Association, the Professional Skaters Association, the Boise Figure Skating Club, and USA Hockey.
